  • 500 g Chicken Wings
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper Adjust to taste
  • Salt To taste
  • Black Pepper To taste
  • Coriander


  • In a bowl, mix together vegetable oil, soy sauce, ketchup, honey, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  • Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag or a bowl. Pour the marinade over the wings, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow the wings to marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour. For optimal results, marinate for 3-4 hours.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Take the chicken wings out of the marinade, letting any excess marinade drip off. Reserve the marinade for basting.
  • Position the chicken wings on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and exhibit a delightful char. In the final few minutes of cooking, brush the wings with the reserved marinade to enhance their flavour.
  • Once the chicken wings are cooked to perfection, transfer them to a serving platter. Enhance their presentation by garnishing them with fresh cilantro leaves for a burst of freshness.
  • Serve the grilled chicken wings piping hot, either as an appetizer or as a delightful part of your meal. They pair splendidly with coleslaw, grilled corn, or your preferred dipping sauce.
