Enjoy crispy, flavorful chicken nuggets without the guilt. These oven-baked bites are a healthier twist on a classic favorite. Packed with savory seasonings and a crunchy coating, they are perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

  • 400 g Chicken Breast Fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 100 g Plain Flour
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 150 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Cooking Spray for greasing


  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan-assisted) and lightly grease a baking tray with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • In a shallow dish, combine the plain flour with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • In another shallow dish, place the beaten eggs.
  • In a third shallow dish, spread out the breadcrumbs.
  • Coat each piece of chicken in the seasoned flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat evenly with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Place the coated chicken nuggets on the prepared baking tray, leaving a little space between each piece.
  • Lightly spray the tops of the chicken nuggets with cooking spray or drizzle with a little olive oil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the nuggets are golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through cooking.
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
