Fish nuggets are a simple and easy kids snack to enjoy at home. Fried until crispy and golden, these fish nuggets are tasty, crunchy, and great to pack into lunchboxes. Dip into some tomato ketchup and enjoy.

Nutrition: per serving

  • 500 g Fish Cod, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 100 g Plain Flour
  • 150 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten
  • Vegetable Oil For fying

  • In a bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
  • In a third bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
  • Dip each piece of fish in the flour mixture, then the beaten egg, and finally the breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to ensure they stick.
  • Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat and add enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the fish nuggets in batches and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Transfer the cooked fish nuggets to a paper towel-lined plate to drain off any excess oil.
  • Serve hot with tartar sauce or your favourite dipping sauce.
