Ingredients

  • 300 g Puff Pastry Sheets Readymade
  • 500 g Strawberries Sliced
  • 200 ml Double Cream
  • 50 g Icing Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan).
  • Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut them into 12 equal rectangles. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake the pastry rectangles in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until they are puffed up and golden brown. Allow them to cool completely.
  • While the pastry is cooling, prepare the filling. In a mixing bowl, whip the double cream with the icing sugar and vanilla extract until it forms stiff peaks.
  • Once the pastry has cooled, spread a generous dollop of whipped cream on top of the pastry.
  • Add a layer of sliced strawberries on top of the cream.
  • Place another pastry rectangle on top to create a sandwich. Repeat this process with the remaining pastry, cream, and strawberries.
  • Dust the top of each Napoleon with a little icing sugar and garnish with cream and strawberries.
  • Serve your Strawberry Napoleons immediately or refrigerate for a short time before serving.
