Fried Lamb Chops

These fried lamb chops are first cooked in an onion masala until soft and tender. Then marinated in an array of spices and fried until crispy and perfect.

Ingredients
  

Masala

  • 1 kg Lamb Chops
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 Onions
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 400 ml Water

Batter

  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Corn Flour

Instructions

  • In a large pot add the lamb chops, ginger paste, garlic paste, finely diced onion, salt, and water then mix all the ingredients – ensure that the lamb chops are of even thickness to allow for even cooking time.
  • Cover and cook for 45 minutes on medium heat until the lamb chops are soft and tender.
  • Remove the lid and cook until the water dries up then set aside the lamb chops to cool.
  • Once the lamb chops have cooled, add the marinade ingredients then mix until the lamb chops are evenly coated.
  • Deep fry the lamb chops on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until crispy.
  • Serve alongside a side of chunky chips and enjoy!
