Pizza Sauce

This is the ultimate recipe for learning how to create homemade pizza sauce. My homemade tomato sauce for pizza is flavourful, simple, and only requires a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 400 g Tomatoes
  • 50 ml Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Crushed Chillies
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Italian Herb Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste

Instructions

  • Roughly chop the tomatoes and add into a food processer then blend tomatoes until a smooth paste is formed
  • In a pan heat up the oil over medium heat until hot
  • Add the garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant
  • Add the crushed chillies, Italian herb seasoning, oregano and basil then sauté again for 1 minute
  • Pour in in the blended tomatoes paste then bring to a gentle bubble and allow to simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes on low heat
  • Add the salt, pepper and sugar then cook for a few minutes
  • Use on top of pizza dough for a delicious treat and enjoy!
