Mint Raita

This is a cool condiment perfectly served alongside spicy Indian dishes. Loaded with refreshing cucumbers, colourful tomatoes, and minty flavour, this raita recipe is so easy to make.

Ingredients
  

  • 400 g Yoghurt
  • 1 Onions
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • ½ Cucumber
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 tsp Mint Sauce
  • ½ tsp Salt

Instructions

  • Dice up the onion, tomatoes and cucumber into small cubes then grate the carrot into small thin pieces
  • In a bowl add some plain yoghurt along with the diced vegetables then mix to ensure everything is incorporated evenly
  • Add the cumin seeds, salt and mint sauce then stir to ensure it is mixed evenly
  • Refrigerate or serve immediately as an accompaniment to samosas or lamb chapli kebabs!
