Straight from the oven, fresh and flavourful garlic bread! Crisp edges, a soft buttery centre, and a golden brown cheesy toasted top with fresh garlic and herbs. The key to making truly wonderful garlic bread is easy.
Wash and finely chop the parsley – a handful of parsley is approximately 20g, but you can use more or less depending on personal preference.
Crush the garlic cloves and add to the finely chopped parsley along with the olive oil and the melted butter then mix until everything is well combined.
Slice a baguette lengthways or any thick bread down the middle.
Line a baking tray with foil and add the baguettes onto the tray.
Generously spread the garlic butter mixture across the baguette.
Then top with the mozzarella cheese (See Note 1).
Bake in the preheated oven for 6-8 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
Serve alongside your choice of pasta and enjoy!
Notes
Note 1 – Any type of cheese can be used but I personally prefer to use cheddar or mozzarella cheese.Nutritional facts:The provision of nutritional information is done so merely as a courtesy and should not be taken as a guarantee.
