Ingredients

  • 800 g Potatoes scrubbed and dried
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan-assisted).
  • Cut the potatoes into wedges. No need to peel them, just ensure they're clean and dry.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper over the potato wedges. Toss again to evenly distribute the seasonings.
  • Spread the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the wedges are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  • Enjoy your delicious homemade potato wedges!

Notes

Potato wedges are best served hot and crispy, straight from the oven.
Feel free to adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences.
For extra crispiness, you can also sprinkle a little cornflour or semolina over the baked potato wedges before baking.
