Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Chicken Thighs Boneless, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground Coriander
  • 1 tsp Paprika Smoked
  • 1 tsp Ground Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder Adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt And Black Pepper To Taste
  • 4 Pitta Bread Or Flatbreads
  • 1 small Red Onion Thinly sliced
  • Lettuce Topping
  • Tomatoes Topping
  • Yoghurt or Tahini Sauce For Serving

Instructions

  • Combine minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, smoked paprika, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, chili powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix thoroughly to create a marinade.
  • Place the thinly sliced chicken thighs into the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours, or for even better results, marinate overnight.
  • Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
  • Thread the marinated chicken slices onto either metal skewers or wooden skewers that have been soaked in water for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Grill the chicken skewers for about 12-15 minutes, turning them occasionally until they are fully cooked and display a delightful char on the edges.
  • While the chicken is grilling, gently heat the pita bread or flatbreads on the grill or in a dry frying pan.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skewers.
  • To assemble, lay a warm pita bread on a plate. Arrange slices of grilled chicken, thinly sliced red onion, fresh lettuce, and tomatoes on top.
  • Drizzle with natural yogurt or tahini sauce.
  • Fold the pita bread over the filling to create a kebab wrap.
