500 g Potatoes 1 Onion Finely chopped 2 cloves Garlic Minced 2 tbsp Plain Flour 1 tsp Baking Powder 1 Egg 1 tsp Salt 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Oil For frying
Peel and grate the potatoes, then place them in a clean tea towel and squeeze out any excess liquid.
In a mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, flour, baking powder, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Heat enough vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat to cover the bottom of the pan.
Spoon the potato mixture into the pan, making sure to flatten each fritter slightly with a spatula.
Fry the fritters for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
Remove the fritters from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Serve hot with your favourite dipping sauce or as a side dish.
