Baked potato wedges are a delicious and healthier alternative to french fries. These wedges are seasoned, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside, making them a perfect side dish or snack.

Ingredients

  • 800 g Potatoes scrubbed and dried
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan-assisted).
  • Cut the potatoes into wedges. No need to peel them, just ensure they’re clean and dry.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper over the potato wedges. Toss again to evenly distribute the seasonings.
  • Spread the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the wedges are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
