Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken Thighs
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 5 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 4 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Oregano Dried
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • Parsley For garnish

Instructions

  • Begin by combining the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper in a bowl to create your marinade.
  • Place the boneless chicken thighs in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour half of the marinade over the chicken, ensuring even coverage. Set aside the remaining marinade.
  • Allow the chicken to marinate for a minimum of 15 minutes, or refrigerate for up to 4 hours for enhanced flavor.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade (discard the portion that touched raw chicken) and add it to the skillet.
  • Cook the chicken for approximately 6-7 minutes per side until it’s thoroughly cooked and nicely browned.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, pour the reserved marinade into the skillet. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken pieces well on both sides.
  • Remove the skillet from heat. Enhance the honey garlic chicken with a sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley for added freshness and color.
  • Serve the honey garlic chicken while hot, alongside your preferred sides like steamed vegetables, rice, or a crisp salad.
